Ernő Goldfinger built concrete towers in London and lived near Ian Fleming in Hampstead. Fleming reportedly hated his work, and in 1959 he gave that name to a Bond villain. The architect threatened to sue, and they settled out of court. Today his Trellick Tower is a listed London landmark.
