Le Corbusier stacked a whole town into one concrete block in Marseille: 337 apartments, with shops and offices inside and a rooftop designed with a running track, nursery school and paddling pool. Locals called it the Maison du Fada, the madman's house. In 2016 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
